APP Manager

Are you a dedicated and experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) with strong leadership skills? We are looking for an APP Manager to lead, supervise, and coordinate the daily activities of Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners across ambulatory, operative, and inpatient clinical settings. What You'll Do:

Collaborate with administrative, clinical, and physician leaders to ensure seamless operations and high-quality patient care.

Lead and participate in team-building, scheduling, quality improvement, and staff development initiatives.

Establish and maintain a professional practice model that supports efficient, patient-centered care in an environment that fosters mentorship and collaboration.

Guide strategic direction in partnership with leadership.

Serve as an APP for the department, assisting attending physicians in all aspects of patient care.

What We're Looking For:

Education & Licensure:

Master's Degree required.

Must have a PA or CRNP degree with a current Pennsylvania license (or Multistate Compact License).

Experience & Skills:

5+ years of experience as an APP required.

2+ years of management experience required.

Demonstrated progressive leadership experience preferred.

Current BLS certification required.

Strong management and leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance clinical operations and improve patient care quality.

Set and monitor care standards for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, ensuring excellence in clinical practice.

Manage staffing patterns, coordinate coverage for absences, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

Oversee the onboarding, training, and ongoing education of advanced practice staff.

Lead process improvement projects to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the organization.

Participate in relevant committee meetings to represent department initiatives and support overall goals.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners in various clinical settings.

Balance direct patient care (40% of work hours) with key administrative responsibilities (60% of work hours).

Oversee the recruitment, hiring, and evaluation of staff while maintaining credentialing and payroll accuracy.

Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for APP team members.

Ensure compliance with policies and procedures while fostering a positive and productive work environment.
