A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Quality Assurance Specialist – Human Services for a long-term opportunity in Scranton, PA. This position offers the opportunity to support statewide quality assessment, oversight, and compliance activities while working closely with regional and statewide teams.
Quality Assurance Specialist – Human Services Compensation
- Competitive pay rate of $28.78/hr
Quality Assurance Specialist – Human Services Highlights
- Hybrid position (On-site Monday–Tuesday in Scranton, PA)
- Full-time schedule (37.5 hours per week)
- Long-term contract opportunity
- Work supporting statewide quality assurance and compliance initiatives
- Travel required for QA&I reviews with AEs and SCOs (primarily September–December)
- Occasional travel to Harrisburg for statewide meetings (approximately twice per year)
- Opportunity to impact service quality across human services programs in Pennsylvania
Quality Assurance Specialist – Human Services Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule quality assessment and improvement (QA&I) activities with Administrative Entities (AEs) and Supports Coordination Organizations (SCOs)
- Oversee implementation of QA&I processes to ensure consistency across assigned regions
- Review reports, data, policies, procedures, and corrective action plans for compliance
- Develop and distribute performance reports based on QA&I findings
- Provide training and technical assistance to AEs, SCOs, providers, and ODP staff
- Track documentation flow related to QA&I processes
- Retrieve and analyze data using the Home and Community Services Information System (HCSIS)
- Participate in statewide QA&I meetings and workgroups
- Develop tracking systems and analyze trends from QA&I data
- Present findings and updates at regional meetings as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Quality Assurance Specialist – Human Services Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field OR 5 years of experience in the ODP service system
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in quality oversight within a human services program
- Knowledge of ODP ID/A programs, Administrative Entities (AEs), Supports Coordination Organizations (SCOs), and provider agencies
- Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in team-based, geographically dispersed environments
- Professional communication and strong organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ODP waiver programs and HCSIS systems
- Background in quality assurance, compliance, or program monitoring
- Experience providing training or presentations to professional audiences
- Strong data analysis and trend reporting experience
- Familiarity with corrective action planning processes
