Job Summary
The Counter Sales Associate is responsible for supporting daily warehouse and sales operations while delivering excellent customer service. This role is primarily warehouse-focused, with responsibilities including inventory management, order handling, and operating forklifts, while also assisting customers at the counter and over the phone. The position requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to balance physical tasks with customer interaction in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Support warehouse operations, including receiving, organizing, and managing inventory.

• Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records.

• Operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials, including loading customer and dealer vehicles.

• Assist customers in person and over the phone, providing product information and support.

• Process shipments and maintain accurate documentation.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

• Assist with store operations, including opening and closing procedures as needed.

• Support scheduling, ordering, and other operational tasks when required.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Experience in a warehouse environment, with the ability to perform physical tasks throughout the day.

• Experience operating forklifts, including electric sit-down, stand-up, and propane forklifts.

• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as required.

• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Basic computer and data entry skills.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.

• Ability to work Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

Work Experience

• Previous warehouse experience required.

• Prior customer service or counter sales experience preferred.

• Experience with inventory management and cycle counting preferred.
