Staff Accountant

Position Summary:

Mascaro is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support the Accounting and Finance team in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This role is responsible for assisting with day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, vendor management, reconciliations, tax filings, and general accounting support. The Staff Accountant works closely with Project Accountants and internal departments to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial processes that support employees, vendors, and clients.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple priorities with accuracy and professionalism.

Roles & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Support Project Accountants with daily accounting and project-related tasks

· Process vendor invoices and payments accurately and on time

· Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

· Set up and maintain vendor accounts, including W-9 documentation

· Prepare and file multi-state sales tax returns and assist with 1099 reporting

· Maintain accurate financial records and support audits and special projects

· Provide general Accounting and Finance department support, including coordination of documentation and approvals

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
