Application Developer I (contract)

We are seeking a professional level Java developer to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA for a 12-month contract opportunity! If you have 3+ years of professional Java and Python development experience developing, testing, and deploying back end microservices and containers, please apply today!
Responsibilities:
- Develop new applications and enhancements.
- Unit test the solution and document the implemented design, procedures, and manuals for the final software solution.
- Resolve production support issues and coordinate the release of new applications and enhancements.
- Configure vendor software for automation as required.
- Perform application performance monitoring and develop new enhancements
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of Java development experience developing back end applications
- 3+ years of experience developing microservices using Spring Boot
- Previous Python development experience with MongoDB or Relational Databases
- Previous Shell Scripting experience (preferred)
- Bachelors degree in computer science or related field of study required
