Job Type: Contract – 12 Weeks (Temp-to-Perm)

Alto Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Dental Hygienist Program Director for a 12-week contract with the opportunity to transition into a permanent leadership role. In this position, you will oversee the Dental Hygiene program, ensuring instructional quality, regulatory compliance, and effective leadership across faculty, curriculum, and student outcomes.

What you’ll do:

• Provide leadership and oversight for the Dental Hygiene program
• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and institutional policies
• Support faculty through coaching, evaluation, and collaboration
• Oversee curriculum planning, course delivery, and student assessment
• Maintain strong relationships with campus leadership and external partners
• Guide continuous improvement efforts within the program
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and development of faculty as needed
• Promote a positive, student-centered learning environment

What we’re looking for:

• Master’s degree required
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Dental Hygienist
• At least 2 years of teaching experience in dental hygiene or related education
• Minimum 1 year of leadership experience (lead instructor, coordinator, or administrative role)
• Active RDH and applicable state credentials (as required)
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
