You will be the Quality Engineer for the Circuit Card Quality Team. Our team is responsible for developing, modifying, and maintaining quality evaluation and control systems that ensure product excellence.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Quality Engineer you will be responsible for driving quality initiatives across the circuit card product line.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:


  • Develop and implement quality evaluation systems.

  • Modify and improve existing control processes.

  • Maintain comprehensive quality documentation.

  • Conduct audits to ensure product excellence.

  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to resolve quality issues.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a STEM discipline with 2 years of professional experience, a related Masters degree, or equivalent combined education/experience

Ability to focus on continual improvement practices using causal analysis tools to drive corrective and preventive actions.

Be able to effectively communicate with Customer, Program team and other functional departments.

Willingness/ability to travel to support program issues/needs as they arise.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment.

Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and support engineering activities related to special process surveys and supplier issues.

Ability to pass visual acuity and color perception exam.

Ability to obtain a clearance.
Desired Skills:
Knowledge and understanding of electrical and mechanical blueprint reading, critical design attributes and auditing/surveying capabilities.

Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification.

ASQ CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) and / or CQIA (Certified Quality Improvement Associate).

SAP Application Experience.

IPC/J-STD, GD&T familiarity.

First Article Inspection (FAI) in accordance with AS9102 experience.

Special Process Engineering Experience.

Strong problem solving skills, corrective action and causal analysis techniques.

Strong communication (both oral and written) will be necessary to support the assignment.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
