HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:

This is a full-time position which is responsible for prepping, sanding, and painting Dejana trucks and vans.

• Prime, paint, and touchup vehicles with power spray equipment and brushes
• Mix all types of paints for proper color, formula, conditions, viscosity and consistency
• Perform titrations and mix or adjust chemicals as necessary in paint, or other processes
• Sand, wash, and condition parts as necessary. Light bodywork may be required
• Inspect product before, during, after paint process to ensure specifications are being met.

WHAT THIS ROLE NEEDS:

• High School graduate at a minimum
• 1-3 years' experience in the painting of automotive or heavy vehicle/equipment in a manufacturing, industrial, or automotive body shop
• Good vision, aptitude for matching colors, mathematical skills, good manual dexterity, basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to do precision work
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions; detail oriented and organized; self-motivated and able to meet manufacturing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to operate hand tools and power tools
