Residential HVAC Installer
Position Type: Full-time

- Startup installed equipment and adjust to manufacturer and job specification
- Communicate with customers regarding the proper operation and owner’s maintenance of installed equipment
- Answer customer questions related to operation, features, and functions of installed equipment
- Communicate with Project Manager throughout each project to assure proper and prompt completion of the job
- Continuously improve knowledge of construction in general and learn how the company operates to benefit the customer
- Perform required documentation for each installation with a complete startup record and have customers sign necessary paperwork
- Collect payment from customers as directed
- Communicate effectively with associates, superiors, vendors, and customers
- Ask and obtain customer referrals and web recommendations
- Must have a good working knowledge of products and services being offered. This may require additional study and training both on and offsite
- Build and practice superior interpersonal skills
- Should be able to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings and specification
- Be able to accurately list/order materials and supplies for use on the job
- Be able to work under time constraints, budgetary limits, and pressures
- Efficiently manage his/her time and schedules
- Be computer literate to the extent necessary to fulfill this function. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word is required
- Should also be very familiar with the use of smart phones, email, and outlook
- Be capable of understanding client needs
- Continuously learn through training from suppliers, trade shows, seminars, independent study, and other employees
- Maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance
- Complete all other duties as assigned
- Digital literacy, including but not limited to the use of smart phones, email, and text messaging
- Possess superior interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with associates, superiors, vendors, and customer
- Must be able to push and pull up to 75 pounds
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl
- Must be able to climb ladders and work at heights more than 8 feet
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC installation
