Position Title: CDL B Truck Driver

Schedule: Full-time, Daytime Hours

Route Type: Local / Regional Deliveries

Service Area: Pennsylvania, Maryland, and New Jersey

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused CDL B Truck Driver to join our team. This position is responsible for making daytime local deliveries throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey and surrounding states. The ideal candidate will have a strong driving record, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to timely and accurate deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial vehicle requiring a Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL B)
• Load, transport, and unload products/lumber as needed
• Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and routine vehicle inspections
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork, logs, and other required records
• Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety procedures
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and salespersons and customers
• Verify delivery contents and obtain signatures or proof of delivery when required
• Report vehicle maintenance needs, delivery issues, or safety concerns promptly

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class B license
• Clean driving record and ability to meet insurability requirements
• Current DOT medical card or ability to obtain one
• Previous delivery driving experience preferred
• Knowledge of routes and roadways in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and New Jersey preferred
• Experience unloading and loading a truck using a forklift, forklift certification required
• Strong attention to safety, punctuality, and detail
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Good communication and customer service skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, drive, and remain alert for extended periods
• Ability to load and unload cargo, with frequent lifting, bending, and reaching
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Ability to work and drive in varying weather conditions

Schedule and Work Environment

• Daytime hours
• Home daily
• Local and regional routes within PA, MD, NJ and surrounding states
• Occasional overtime may be required based on delivery schedules
