Job Description

Conduct thorough visual inspections of circuit boards, HLA assemblies, cable harnesses, electrical components, and incoming products to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed visual inspections using microscopes and other visual aids.
• Record product information in ERP operating systems and related applications.
• Document asset numbers, inspection dates, pass/fail status, and inspector stamps on required paperwork and applications.
• Ensure compliance with ISO and IPC inspection standards.
• Assist colleagues with quality inspection tasks and needs.
• Adhere to 5S procedures to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Alert the supervisor promptly if any issues arise or are anticipated.

Essential Skills

• Proficient in inspection and quality inspection techniques.
• Strong experience in visual inspection, quality control, and quality assurance.
• Familiarity with electronics manufacturing processes.
• Ability to conduct production and final inspections.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with ISO 9001, IPC 600, IPC 610, and J-STD preferred.
• Capability to read and interpret assembly and part drawings.
• Experience with AS9100 standards.
• Understanding of company and industry quality standards and processes.
• Familiarity with calibration and EDS standards.
• Ability to comprehend customer purchase orders.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Windber, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
