Scott Electric Company has a current opening for an Internal Auditor at our Greensburg, PA (Wellington Square), Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm.

Responsibilities:

• Reviews operational, financial, and electronic information systems' internal controls, policies, and procedures for effectiveness
• Audits the companys information systems, assessing compliance with data security and storage requirements
• Audits the companys financial records, statements, and reports, verifying accuracy and consistency
• Drafts and presents reports of findings and analysis; identifies and recommends revisions and improvements to existing practices and procedures
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a background in operational auditing
• Extensive knowledge of information systems security
• Extensive knowledge of general financial accounting and reporting
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficient with accounting software

Education and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in accounting required
• Three years of related experience required
• Internal audits: 1 year required
• Certified Public Accounting (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation

Must submit a background check and drug testing.
