Senior Tooling Technician

Zing Recruiting in partnership with a prominent Manufacturer int the Reedsville, PA area, is seeking a Senior Tooling Technician to join their team. This is a climate-controlled facility offering a wide range of perks such as full benefits, 401K, and profit sharing!

Senior Tooling Technician Summary
Direct Hire/Full Time
Day Shift: Wed-Sat 7am - 5:15pm
Pay: Up to $45.71hour.
Relocation Assistance
Benefits: Full Benefits/Vacation (Benefits Eligibility on 1st Day of Employment)
401K: 6% Match, Company sponsored continuing education.

• Modify molds, dies, and tooling components using precision machining techniques.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to develop tooling solutions for plastics manufacturing processes.
• Perform regular maintenance and preventive maintenance on molds, dies, and tools to optimize performance and extend their lifespan.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with molds and tools and implement effective repair solutions.
• Conduct repairs, adjustments, and modifications to molds and tools to ensure proper functionality and minimize downtime.

Senior Tooling Technician Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (additional technical certifications or education preferred).
• Journeyman preferred
• 10 + years with precision tooling
• Strong tooling background to include experience in close tolerance grinding, lathes, and mills.
• Strong troubleshooting/analytical skills.
• Proficient in repairing molds, dies, and tools.
• Process knowledge (including electronic).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with hot runner systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
