Job Description
The purpose of this role is to assist in the design and implementation of a closed-loop automation strategy across various business processes. This project aims to automate critical processes using digital twins and self-driving labs concepts. The individual will design robotic systems for desired functionality, train end users of software, and solicit continuous feedback for seamless interaction with digital twins and self-driving labs concepts.
- Support Software Developer that allows seamless interaction with digital twins and robotics systems, ensuring it integrates smoothly with existing systems.
- Coding, testing, and refining the software to meet performance and usability standards.
- Create an integrated software solution that enables efficient communication between digital twins and robotic systems.
- Maintain a source code repository that is organized and documented for future reference and updates
- Create user manuals that provide clear instructions for end-users on how to operate the software.
- Create API documentation that details the interfaces and protocols used for system integration.
- Conduct comprehensive unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing of both the robotic systems and the software to ensure they meet all project requirements and perform as expected under various conditions.
- Create test plans that outline the objectives, scope, and methods for testing the systems.
- Identify detailed test cases that specify the conditions and expected outcomes for each test.
- Author validation reports that summarize the results of the tests, including any issues found and resolutions implemented
- Track bugs and issues in logs that document all identified problems and their status.
- Continuously monitor the performance of the automated systems to identify areas for improvement.
- Optimize the systems to enhance efficiency, reliability, and performance based on collected data and user feedback.
- Create performance reports that analyze system metrics and identify areas for improvement.
- Determine optimization plans that outline the steps to enhance system performance and efficiency.
- Maintain system logs and monitor data that provide insights into system operations and any issues encountered.
Qualifications
At least a BS in Engineering
2-3 years of industry experience
Authorization to work in the country indefinitely without sponsorship

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania are encouraged to apply.
