Laser Operator - 2nd Shift
Pay: $17-20/hr.
2nd Shift: Mon - Thu (1pm - 11pm)
Summary:
- Set-up and operate the laser machine to fabricate product according to specifications. Utilizing measuring equipment to ensure that the product has met all specifications.
Qualifications:
- Excellent knowledge and proven work experience in a Manufacturing environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
- Strong attention to detail, ability to use measuring devices
- Safety and quality conscious
- Effective time management skills
- Ability to stand for 4 or more hours at a time
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in non-climate controlled environment
Responsibilities:
- Receives work instruction, prints, and routers for jobs
- Utilizes measuring devices daily to check and verify accuracy of work
- Knowledge of laser machine operation and material limitations
- Performs operator daily maintenance of machine and tooling as required
- Capable of reading part drawings and understanding tolerance requirements
- Monitor quality and maximize output of product
- Willingness to work in all areas of the warehouse
- Perform other duties as assigned
