Threshold Rehabilitation Services, Inc. , a human service agency supporting people with disabilities, is actively seeking an

IT Communication Specialist . The IT Communication Specialist supports all the internal and external communication needs of the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follow communication best practices
• Create, maintain, and distribute newsletters and other outreach campaigns
• Create, maintain, and distribute video and photographic content
• Implement website management best practices
• Perform web content redesign & implement web content best practices
• Use GIS to analyze geographic data regarding communication media and channels
• Expand usage of SEO and AEO to improve outreach efforts
• Manage social media communication and schedules
• Serve as a certified investigator for the organization
• Maintain and confirm to style branding guide
• Create print and social media content
• Provide artistic recommendations
• Work with contracted vendors to manage events and contracts
• Identify organizational communications needs
• Create and manage documentation related to events, donations, and outreach
• Organize and lead events, meetings, and presentations
• Develop and document procedures
• Provide training for all users on system on communication practices
• Develop reports as required
• Maintain data sets related to doners and outreach
• Perform record, document, and data management as needed
• Comply with Threshold's confidentiality policy specifically regarding access to individuals' personal health information
• Maintain and archive materials as needed
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Chief Information Officer, Chief Human Resources officer, and president/CEO as required

The hours for this position are Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm. These are great work hours with paid Holidays off starting day one of employment!!

Requirements:

• B.S. Degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Systems or related field preferred with 1-2 years of experience in Communications field; or A.S. Degree with 3-4 years' experience in the Communications field
• Demonstrate knowledge of communications best practices
• Demonstrate knowledge of social media best practices
• Knowledge of compliance best practices
• Strong knowledge of SEO, AEO, and GES
• Any combination of skills and experience listed above
• Valid PA Driver's License
• PA Motor Vehicle Record Check
• Use of vehicle while working with valid registration and insurance coverage indicating you are an insured driver
• Pre-employment drug screen
• PA Criminal History Clearance
