Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school in Lancaster, PA is seeking a skilled School Psychologist to join their team on a contract basis for the uping school year (NSY). This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student success by providing psychological services and support within an educational setting.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify students strengths and areas of need
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and intervention strategies
- Provide counseling and support services to students experiencing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review student progress and plan interventions
- Offer consultation and training to school staff on student mental health and learning issues
- Maintain accurate documentation and ply with all relevant laws and regulations
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Demonstrated experience working with K-12 students in educational environments
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, intervention techniques, and special education laws
- Excellent interpersonal and munication skills for collaboration with diverse school munity members
- Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines efficiently
