Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP , expertise in DevOps automation , and a solid understanding of networking, security, and CI/CD pipelines in cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure for applications, data platforms, and DevOps workflows.

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure Bicep.

• Automate provisioning, configuration, and scaling of infrastructure resources.

• Monitor and optimize cloud performance , cost efficiency , and resource utilization .

• Configure and manage networking , load balancers , firewalls , and security groups across environments.

• Implement backup, disaster recovery , and high availability (HA) strategies.

• Collaborate with development, security, and data teams to deploy and maintain production systems.

• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.

• Manage identity and access management (IAM) , encryption, and compliance controls (e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA).

• Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues in development and production environments.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field .

• 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering or DevOps roles.

• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider ( AWS, Azure, or GCP ).

• Proficiency in Terraform , CloudFormation , or similar IaC tools.

• Solid understanding of networking , DNS , VPN , VPCs , subnets , and load balancers .

• Experience with Linux/Windows server administration and shell scripting (Bash, PowerShell) .

• Strong experience with CI/CD tools — Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, AKS, GKE).

• Knowledge of cloud security best practices and monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Stackdriver).

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in distributed environments.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud setups.

• Familiarity with serverless computing (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, Google Cloud Functions).

• Exposure to configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).

• Understanding of DevSecOps , Zero Trust , and security automation practices.

• Knowledge of logging and monitoring stacks (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana).

• Experience with Kubernetes cluster management and Helm charts .

• Certification in AWS (Solutions Architect, SysOps) , Azure Administrator , or Google Professional Cloud Engineer .
