Owner's Rep, Project Manager

About the Role:

As a CBRE Owner's Representative, Project Manager you will be responsible for providing consulting services to a high-profile client account to help achieve the company's strategic business objectives. In this role the selected candidate will manage a variety of office build out projects to support large hyper-scale data centers located in the Columbus and Cleveland areas. This is an onsite role.

This job is part of the Project Management function. They are responsible for the management of projects from initiation through completion.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage all areas of project management for multiple real estate projects. This includes planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.

  • Work directly with clients to prepare all elements of the project. This includes the scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimates & budget, work plan schedule & milestones, quality control, and risk identification.

  • Define the project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through the project qualification process. Conduct complex requests for proposals, complete bid evaluations, and recommend resources to clients.

  • Facilitate the development of a charter and integrated timeline.

  • Ensure all functions remain on schedule and issues get resolved or escalated.

  • Facilitate regular meetings to review project status for active and pending projects.

  • Collaborate to develop solutions and guide the project team through implementation and completion.

  • Apply advanced knowledge to seek and develop new, better methods for accomplishing both individual and department objectives.

  • Showcase expertise in own job discipline and in-depth knowledge of other job disciplines within the organization function.

  • Coach others to develop in-depth knowledge and expertise in most or all areas within the function.

  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Anticipates potential objections and persuades others, often at senior levels and of divergent interest, to adopt a different point of view.

  • Impact the achievement of customer, operational, project, or service objectives across multi-discipline teams. Work is guided by functional policies which impact the design of procedures and policies.

  • Contribute to new products, processes, standards, and/or operational plans in support of achieving functional goals.

  • Communicate difficult and complex ideas with the ability to influence.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-10 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

  • The innovative mentality to develop methods that go beyond existing solutions.

  • Ability to solve unique problems using standard and innovative solutions having a broad impact on the business.

  • In-depth knowledge of Google Workplace. Google Workspace which includes enhanced productivity tools like Gmail, Docs, Meet, and more.

  • Expert organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.

What You'll Need

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

  • 4+ years of experience working with automated conveyors and controls.

  • Proficient using computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).

  • Experience with MHE safety standardsin accordance withOriginal Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Safety standards.

  • Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles, National Electrical Code (NEC), and/or industrial electronics.

  • Ability to conduct preventative& procedure-based maintenance.

  • Experience reading blueprints and schematics.

  • Experience with Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) programs.

  • 3+ years of work order management.

  • Ability to use and interpret statistical equipment to run metrics such as OEE/Up Time to prioritize accordingly.

  • Physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs / ladders andabilityto lift/carry heavy loads of 50lbs.ormore.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate'sor higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field.

  • Previousleadership experience.

  • Previousvendor management experience.

  • Experience with robotic maintenance.

  • Experience with CMMS

  • Certification preferred in one or more of the following: electronic, electrical, mechanical, access control servers, PLCs, process controls, robotics, or mechanical power transmissions.

Turner & Townsend carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this position is $150,000 annually and the maximum salary for this position is $165,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on Turner & Townsend's applicable benefit program.
