Part-Time Automotive Media Assistant (Entry-Level / Apprenticeship)

At Carrara Design, we help collectors, coach builders, and manufacturers around the world define specification designs for the most elite automotive commissions and builds worldwide. Our business is growing fast, and our current lead designer actually started out just doing our social media. Because that path worked so well, we are looking to do it again.

We are looking for a local car enthusiast with a killer aesthetic eye to join our team- starting out part-time helping with media, and eventually transitioning into a design role. We don’t need a polished professional with years of experience. We are looking for the kid at the local Cars & Coffee events with the most refined aesthetic eye taking the best photos. We want someone with raw talent, a strong work ethic, and a love for cars who is looking for a place to build a real career working on projects they love.

What You’ll Do (Phase 1: Media Assistant)

You will start by taking over our day-to-day media and marketing tasks.

• In-Studio (10-20 hours/week): Come into the studio 2–3 days a week (roughly 6 hours a day- you make your own schedule) to shoot photo/video content, assist the team, and learn the ropes of our business.
• Remote/Flexible (5-10 hours/week): Edit content, manage daily social media posts, and engage with the community from home or wherever you happen to be.

The Long-Term Vision (Phase 2: 3D Designer)

This is not a dead-end job; it is a paid apprenticeship. Once you have the media tasks dialed in, any extra hours you want to work will be spent training you on our backend 3D design processes. As you learn the software and begin successfully helping out on actual client 3D projects, our goal is to bump your pay accordingly and eventually transition you into a Full-Time Core Team Member.

• A Great Eye: You don’t need a degree; you just need to know how to capture cars beautifully and understand good aesthetic framing.
• Car Obsessed: You know your cars, you love automotive culture, and you probably already spend your weekends at car meets.
• Self-Motivated with a Fresh Perspective: We aren't just looking for someone to wait around for instructions. We want a self-starter who brings their own unique creative vision and new ideas to the table to help elevate our brand.
• Eager to Learn: You don't need to know 3D design yet, but you must be excited to sit down, focus, and learn.
