  • Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses; drive corrective actions.
  • Keep training records, environmental reports, and required state/federal documentation up to date.
  • Coordinate closely with the Safety and Human Resources departments to maintain clear, timely communication.
  • Partner with plant management to reduce risk using ergonomic evaluations and Job Safety Analysis; recommend corrective measures.
  • Conduct Plant and Distribution Center safety audits and follow up on remediation.
  • Track and follow up with Maintenance to ensure completion of safety-related work orders.
  • Maintain current labor law postings.
  • Oversee drug screening processes.
  • Oversee compliance with regular inspections of fire protection equipment, emergency response vehicle components, AED units, hoists, ladders, eyewash stations, and stored respirators; collaborate with Maintenance on plant inspections.
  • Apply knowledge of industrial lift truck operation in support of safe practices.

What you bring

  • 1–3 years of safety experience (required).
  • Calm under pressure in a fast-paced setting; strong deadline management.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred; experience in companies of 500+ employees preferred.
  • Spanish or another non-English language is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA General Industry standards (required).
  • Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
