Purpose:
The Senior Scientist, Biostatistician, provides statistical support to early development projects in Immunology area including compound development plans, analysis planning and execution, modeling, interpretation, and communication of trial results, and is key member and statistical methodology go-to person in the compound team.
You will be responsible for:
The Biostatistician works as a lead statistician to provide statistical thinking and contributions to the delivery of studies, development plans, regulatory strategy, high-quality decision support to enable informed compound development decision making. This individual is accountable for execution of individual project responsibilities, including meetings with necessary project team members, reporting activities, data analyses, and support publications for individual clinical trials/projects. In addition, the person investigates and applies novel statistical approaches for relevant statistical issues including modeling and simulation; processes improvement, standards within the statistical department; and interacts with external scientists and represents J&J via publications and presentations on novel approaches.
Qualifications / Requirements:

PhD in Statistics or Master's in Statistics with commensurate years of experience

Proficiency in SAS or R or other relevant computational tools

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships

Demonstrated ability to work independently and in interdisciplinary setting

Demonstrated knowledge in pharmaceutical research and development strategies and execution including trial design, modeling, analysis planning, analysis execution, interpretation, and statistical communications

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $105,000 to $169,050 USD.
