Asset Manager
Exciting Asset Manager opportunity in the Metro Philadelphia market! The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a background in multifamily housing. This role is perfect for an asset management lead who wants to be part of a department's growth with a quickly expanding company! In this role, you’ll take ownership of asset performance, drive financial strategies, and provide critical insights that shape investment decisions. You’ll collaborate across departments, manage investor and lender relationships, and ensure every asset in your portfolio is performing at its highest potential.
What You’ll Do
As our Asset Manager, you’ll:
- Optimize Portfolio Performance: Monitor leasing, pricing, occupancy, operating expenses, and capital expenditures—identifying opportunities to drive NOI growth and improve returns.
- Analyze & Forecast: Build and refine cash flow models, develop financial forecasts, and evaluate risk scenarios to guide refinancing, recapitalization, and capital investment strategies.
- Lead Strategic Initiatives: Develop hold/sell analyses, execute exit strategies, and contribute to business plans that maximize long-term value.
- Stay Ahead of the Market: Research economic, demographic, and industry trends; benchmark against competitors; and deliver actionable insights that inform portfolio decisions.
- Manage Capital & Financing: Oversee loan compliance, track key debt metrics, and partner with lenders and investors to manage refinancing and capital events.
- Partner Across Teams: Work with finance, operations, legal, and development teams to align strategies and ensure smooth execution.
- Deliver Insights: Prepare and present regular reporting packages, operational reviews, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Drive Results: Manage cash flows, distributions, and capital plans with precision—ensuring every asset performs at or above expectations.
About You
You’ll thrive in this role if you have:
- 5–8 years of experience in asset management, real estate investment, or financial analysis (multifamily experience strongly preferred).
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, with the ability to translate numbers into strategy.
- Strong business acumen, analytical mindset, and ability to balance detail with big-picture thinking.
- Excellent communication skills—able to influence, present, and partner effectively with stakeholders at every level.
- A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative mindset but also the independence to take ownership and drive initiatives forward.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
