Care assistant
Job Overview
Batchelet Eye is an ophthalmology practice located in Grove City, Pennsylvania with two satellite locations. We are seeking an employee to join our expanding team. Applicants must be energetic, diligent and computer savvy. The right candidate will have effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. He/she must work well in a teamwork environment. Excellent time management, communication skills and empathetic personality are required for this position.
Job Duties :
- Support the dissemination of educational materials and post-visit instructions as directed by providers.
- Feel comfortable having discussions about educational materials with patients.
- Maintain and organize patient charts and documentation, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide accurate and consistent documentation in charts and the electronic medical records.
- Provide administrative support to the practice.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to support continuous improvement.
- Provide cross-coverage for other clerical or administrative team members as needed.
- Always interact with patients in a positive and friendly manner.
- Adherence to HIPPA guidelines.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
