Second Harvest is seeking a passionate, organized, and community-minded Market Manager to lead operations at Harvest On Main Community Market in Sharpsburg, PA.

Harvest On Main is more than a grocery market — it’s a community-centered space dedicated to increasing access to fresh, healthy, and affordable food while strengthening relationships throughout the neighborhood. As a program of Second Harvest, our mission is to meet both the material and relational needs of our neighbors with dignity, compassion, and connection.

The Market Manager plays a key leadership role in ensuring the smooth and mission-aligned operation of the market. This individual will oversee daily operations including ordering, receiving, inventory management, invoicing, pricing, and vendor coordination. The role also includes supervising staff and volunteers alongside organizational leadership while helping create a welcoming and collaborative workplace culture.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys building systems and relationships. Ideal candidates will bring a minimum of 5 years of experience in operations, retail or market management, buying, or related leadership roles. Strong organizational skills, financial oversight experience, and confidence using spreadsheets, Excel, and Google applications are essential.
