Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Summer 2026 Software Engineering Intern. In this role, you will work with a team of software engineers to write code, review peer work and demonstrate software capabilities. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of at least one modern programming language, familiarity with software design and software implementation. Must be a US Citizen; this position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience with at least one modern programming language
• Enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree Student majoring in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fields

• Familiarity with modern software development concepts such as CI/CD, Micro-Service Oriented Architectures, Containerization, Infrastructure as Code, Agile Development
• Course work in modern programming language such as Python or Java

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
