Residential Childcare Worker/Youth Advocate
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of youth? The Youth Service Bureau (YSB) is seeking dedicated and compassionate Residential Child Care Workers / Youth Advocatesto join our team, working across several of our residential programs. You’ll play a vital role in supporting teenagers as they develop life skills, work toward their goals, and build brighter futures.
What You’ll Do
Provide care and supervision for youth in Residential settings, ensuring a safe, supportive, and positive environment.
Model appropriate and safe behavior tohelp residents develop healthy coping and communication skills.
Prepare and serve nutritious meals, administer medications as needed, and transport youthto appointments, school, and activities.
Support residents in building key life skills such as anger management, problem-solving, decision-making, time management, peer relationships, employability, and goal achievement.
Assist in individual, family, and group counseling sessionsas needed.
Participate in recreational and therapeutic activitiesthat foster personal growth and community connection.
