Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A dynamic opportunity is available for a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work full-time within an elementary school setting in Philadelphia, PA. This contract position runs from ASAP through June 13, with potential for renewal, catering to an elementary caseload of approximately 40 students. Full-time hours range from 35 to 37.5 per week, offering a consistent schedule to support meaningful impact and professional growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing individualized speech-language therapy to elementary-aged students
- Collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Documenting student progress and maintaining clear, compliant records
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and school-based activities as needed
Qualifications and preferred experience:
- Valid Pennsylvania SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA (CCC-SLP)
- Prior experience working with pediatric populations in school environments highly desired
- Strong communication and organizational skills essential for managing a caseload of 40 students
