Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems Inc. is recruiting for an Associate Director, Pricing Strategy for the Strategic Customer Group (SCG). This position is in Horsham, PA and will support the Oncology Solid Tumor Lung Portfolio Value, Access and Pricing business. The Strategic Customer Group is responsible for the development and execution of strategies that ensure optimal access and reimbursement for the J&J portfolio. Key stakeholders include health plans, health systems, hospital, oncology community practices, oncology physician group purchasing organizations and distribution intermediaries.

The Strategic Pricing Associate Director will be responsible for developing and supporting the pricing strategy for the Solid Tumor Lung Portfolio (Rybrevant & Lazcluze), while also contributing to pricing launch strategies for future assets and indications within the Oncology Solid Tumor Lung portfolio and potentially supporting select cross-portfolio initiatives; this highly visible and strategically critical role will help shape both current and future Oncology Solid Tumor pricing approaches.

Role Responsibilities include:

  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement brand pricing strategies for both newly launched and inline brands. This individual will collaborate with Brand, Finance, Legal, Contracting and HCC teams and gain Senior Leadership agreement to establish Pricing policies. The position reports to the Director of Pricing strategy for Solid Tumor.

  • Lead channel pricing and contracting strategies development for J&J IM products. Serve as the brand pricing lead by synthesizing customer, industry and competitive insights and intelligence to guide the creation of product specific and franchise pricing contracting approaches.

  • Ensure awareness of price as a key component of the marketing mix at the gross and net level. Effectively work with all key stakeholders to drive alignment on the pricing strategies and how they impact the business. Lead CPC discussions with Legal, Finance, Contract Administration, HCS, HCC and other key stakeholders.

  • Develop and implement contract strategy dashboards tracking pricing strategies and business impact. Proactively conduct competitive and changing marketplace analyses to ensure the evolution of contracting approaches in the marketplace to optimize value and business results.

  • Act as a pricing strategy lead to customer contract negotiations and discussions.

  • Monitor policy and reimbursement related market developments to ensure the continued evolution of J&J IM approach to the marketplace. This includes design and implementation of value-based contracting approaches, assessments of the impact of emerging policy initiatives, healthcare system metrics and any other critical developments.

Qualifications:

  • 5 plus years of work experience in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry required. The emphasis in finance, marketing, analytics or product management preferred

  • Experience in pricing or contracting or account management preferred

  • Ability to collaborate well with others is required; this includes account management, brand management, strategic planning, legal, finance, HCC and other key stakeholders

  • Strong understanding of reimbursement/payment models and customer structures preferred

  • Strong financial or marketing background preferred

  • Must demonstrate strong strategy, innovation, collaboration and analytical skills as well as excellent overall business acumen

Other:

  • This position is based in Horsham, PA and will require up to 10% travel (domestic). Team typically works Tues, Wed, Thurs on-site. Flexibility to travel within Janssen campuses as needed is necessary.

  • Candidates are required to work 3 days on-site and 2 days remote per week under the J&J Flex plan. Some flexibility to work at other J&J sites may be provided.
