Who we are looking for
Are you a manager who develops and motivates employees and first-level managers? Are you looking for an exciting, hands-on role leading American workers to overcome complex on-shoring challenges, and taking a new advanced manufacturing product from concept to full-scale production?
You will be part of the core leadership team, reporting directly to the EVP of Operations. Our new flagship large-scale manufacturing site offers agile, world-class full-scale production capability to small and large contract manufacturing customers, and support future development of our constituent businesses' own products and processes.

Responsible for the overall strategy and execution of the manufacturing operations function for Re:Build New Kensington, including: planning, commitment, production, and continuous improvement. As a dynamic leader, construct a best-in-class manufacturing team fulfilling a diverse array of products and markets. Our company is poised for growth and expansion in a number of industries, and we need your help to design, improve and manage the systems of operations to ensure an incredible customer experience!
- Manages employees and first-level managers performing activities within multiple manufacturing disciplines.
- Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals and objectives.
- Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads Lean process improvement culture.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes, and introduction of advanced manufacturing technologies.
- Encourages development of highly engaged, self-directed work teams.
What you bring to the Team
- 8+ years of experience working in a fabrication, or manufacturing environment.
- 8+ years of experience leading teams in a formal or informal role.
- Experience with Lean/Six sigma continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Experience in working to lead and develop teams to execute to safety, quality, delivery, cost, innovation, and people targets.
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
- This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
