CT Technologist Job Details

• Location: Coal Township, Pennsylvania (17866) – Experience small-town charm and easy access to outdoor recreation in this Pennsylvania healthcare community.
• Setting: Hospital – CT Scan and General Diagnostic X-Ray Department
• Employment Type: Locum Tenens (Travel Contract)
• Start Date: September 8, 2025
• End Date: December 9, 2025
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Nights / Weekender (12-hour night shifts plus one 8-hour shift per week)
• Scheduled Weekly Hours: 32 (Friday: 11pm–7:30am; Saturday & Sunday: 6:30pm–7am)
• Equipment: Siemens
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2470 - $2540

CT Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist in a hospital or clinical setting
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Specialty Training Program
• Certified Radiology Technologist (ARRT) – Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification – Required
• Strong analytical thinking, communication, computer literacy, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and cover both CT and X-Ray departments after 10:30pm

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality multimodality imaging procedures (CT and X-Ray) according to established protocols
• Maintain production and quality standards for all diagnostic imaging procedures
• Prepare patients and Siemens imaging equipment for procedures, ensuring proper positioning and exposure settings
• Adhere to safety, infection control, drug, and radiation policies and protocols
• Collaborate with engineers and physicists to ensure optimal equipment performance
• Report equipment or operational issues to management or appropriate departments
• Maintain accurate medical imaging records in compliance with department policies
• Participate in quality assurance and control programs to ensure excellence in imaging and departmental performance
