About This Role: Fullstack Developer (Backend-Leaning)
As a Fullstack Developer with a strong focus on backend systems, you'll play a key role in Proscia’s digital pathology platform, helping to design, build, and scale the software that enables pathologists to diagnose patients more efficiently and accurately. You’ll work on performance-critical features like image streaming, data pipelines, and backend services for managing clinical workflows, ensuring that the platform is both robust and fast.

What You’ll Do
At a fast-moving company like Proscia, you’ll wear multiple hats—but on most days, you can expect to:

• Collaborate in an agile Scrum team using modern tools for requirements management, sprint planning, and delivery.


• Build and maintain backend services and APIs that power the platform’s user experience and integrate with data processing pipelines.


• Partner closely with Product to understand the nuanced needs of our customers—including pathologists, lab technicians, and IT staff.


• Work across the stack with technologies like Node.js , TypeScript , PostgreSQL , and frameworks like Vue.js for occasional frontend work.


• Help shape and implement test strategies using modern tools like Playwright to ensure product stability and performance.

What We’re Looking For
We’re a high-growth company looking for entrepreneurial developers who enjoy building in complex domains. The ideal candidate will have:

• 2+ years of professional software development experience


• Proficiency in TypeScript and SQL ; experience with Node.js is especially valued


• Solid software engineering fundamentals and attention to detail


• Experience working on scalable backend systems and APIs


• Familiarity with healthcare, clinical, or imaging applications is a plus
