Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on, strategic Controller to manage the accounting and finance function for our organization. The ideal candidate brings progressive leadership experience with demonstrated success and the ability to improve workflows, drive accountability, and support financial performance, compliance and organizational planning.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct all accounting activities including Payroll, Accounts Payable, General Leger and Accounts Receivable
• Provide leadership, prioritize and assign responsibilities; train, monitor, mentor and improve performance of the finance and accounting staff
• Process monthly and year-end closings and prepare financial statements
• Prepare projections and forecasts as well as various other reports and analyses as required
• Prepare and submit quarterly and annual payroll tax returns and reports
• Bank Reconciliations
• Manage ACH authorizations and reconciliation
• Manage Cash Receipts
• Analyze various costs and suggest cost saving improvements
• Special Projects as required or needed

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• CPA strongly preferred
• Five (5) plus years of controller and supervisory experience
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills
• Knowledge of GAAP, Corporate, Federal, State, and Payroll Tax Laws and regulations
• Excellent computer skills and Microsoft Excel knowledge
• Ability to maintain confidentiality

Astriva, LLC offers a Competitive Salary Range $100,000 to $125,000 (salary commensurate with experience), Medical/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance Benefits, Short and Long Term Disability Insurance Benefits, Paid Vacation and Paid Holidays.
