We are hiring for a Pharmacy Technician in Bridgeville, PA!

Location: Bridgeville, PA (15017)
Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours per week
Shift Hours: Between 6:30 AM - 11:30 PM (varied shifts such as 6:30 AM-2 PM, 9 AM starts, or 3 PM-11:30 PM. Must have open availability)
Weekends: Limited weekend rotations initially; eventually every 3rd or 4th weekend

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our Long-Term Care (LTC) pharmacy team in Bridgeville, PA. This is a full-time role focused primarily on medication filling and dispensing. Ideal candidates will have some prior pharmacy or healthcare experience, though no data entry experience is required. Training will be provided, and we're looking for someone who can quickly become a productive and valued member of our team.

Responsibilities:

Filling and Dispensing Medications

• Accurately fill daily prescription orders, including punch cards, bulk items, OTCs, compounding, cassettes, and prepacks.
  

Inventory Management

• Stock and restock medication inventory.
• Reorder bulk items and shorts as needed.
• Maintain organized and accurate inventory records.
  

Order Processing

• Print daily pharmacy orders, labels, and delivery sheets.
• Process daily shorts and punch card buckets.
  

Receiving and Processing Shipments

• Receive incoming medication shipments and verify contents against packing slips.
• Handle associated documentation and ensure inventory accuracy.
  

Clerical Duties

• Maintain punch-card calendars and calendar boards.
• Assist with general clerical and organizational tasks as needed.

Schedule & Work Environment:

• Rotating shifts between 6:30 AM and 11:30 PM, based on pharmacy needs.
• Every 3rd or 4th weekend rotation once fully trained.
• Supportive team environment with a focus on accuracy, collaboration, and patient care.

Qualifications:

• Preferred: Prior pharmacy or LTC experience.
• Not required: Data entry or order entry experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
• Reliable, team-oriented, and eager to learn quickly.

Note: Previous hires from non-pharmacy backgrounds have succeeded in this role - training will be provided for the right candidate.
