Overview
We are hiring a Billing Specialist with our telecommunications client in Harleysville, PA. In this role, you’ll support one or more accounting‐related functions on an administrative basis by reviewing, analyzing, and resolving project billings. This position plays a key role in ensuring accurate, timely invoicing and project closeout documentation.
Requirements:
- 2–3 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or accounts payable
- Experience working with Unit Billing
Job Description:
- Review unbilled and billed jobs to ensure all billable production is accurately invoiced
- Apply industry standards and project‐specific units to redline documents and compare them against production data to determine correct billing quantities
- Review customer invoices to ensure timely, complete, and accurate billing
- Collect and review project documentation and prepare final closeout packages for internal teams and customers
- Identify documentation gaps and communicate issues to appropriate project leaders for resolution
- Partner with Finance on revenue and cost accruals
- Research and resolve billing discrepancies and issues
- Assist with additional recording and billing processes as needed
- Perform other administrative duties to support the Billing Supervisor
