Horsham Center for Jewish Life is a 324-bed long-term care community dedicated to providing a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for our residents, families, visitors, and staff. We are currently seeking a dependable and professional Weekend Security Guard to join our team.

This position is responsible for maintaining a safe environment throughout the facility by monitoring the premises, assisting with security needs, responding to concerns, and supporting the overall safety of our community. The ideal candidate is alert, reliable, and committed to providing excellent service while interacting respectfully with residents, visitors, and staff.

Schedule

• Weekend Shift: 12:00 PM – 12:00 AM

• Weekend availability required

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor facility grounds, entrances, exits, and common areas to maintain a safe environment.

• Conduct routine security rounds and report any safety concerns or unusual activity.

• Assist with visitor management and ensure facility access procedures are followed.

• Respond appropriately to emergencies and security-related situations.

• Support staff, residents, and visitors with professionalism and courtesy.

• Maintain accurate security logs and documentation.

• Follow all facility safety policies, procedures, and regulations.

• Work collaboratively with facility leadership and team members.

Qualifications

• Previous security, healthcare, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.

• Strong observation and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Dependable, professional, and able to work independently.

• Ability to remain calm and effective in emergency situations.

• Experience working in a healthcare or senior living environment is a plus.

• Security certification/license preferred if required by state regulations.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

• Ability to perform routine security rounds throughout the facility.

• Ability to respond quickly and safely to security concerns.
