WATER AND WASTEWATER TREATMENT AND SYSTEM OPERATOR-IN-TRAINING

• Experience

-We are looking to train the right individual to join our water and wastewater operations team

-Applicant should have an interest in learning water and wastewater operations and have a skill set in mechanics, plumbing, electrical controls and basic math and science

• Requirements

- Must be able to report to work within 40 minutes of notification when on-call

- Attain the appropriate Pennsylvania certifications

- Complete continuing education courses and safety training

- Work well with others on our operations team

- Work well independently

• Job Responsibilities

- Report to Operations Supervisor

- Required to share on-call duty

- Maintenance and Repair work on water and wastewater treatment equipment

- Maintenance and Repair work on water distribution and sewer collection system

- Pump and control panel repairs

- Routine water and wastewater testing and recording

- Work independently, diagnosing and repairing equipment
