Patient Care Technician

Are you passionate about making a difference in patients’ lives? We are looking for a dedicated Patient Care Technician to join our dynamic 6A Ortho/Neuro/Trauma Unit.
Scheduling requirements include availability for rotating shifts, weekends and holidays.
The position offers opportunities for growth, with a clear career ladder from Nursing Assistant to Patient Care Technician – Lead. A starting pay rate of $18.40/hour for Nursing Assistants is offered, based on experience and qualifications.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist with activities of daily living, basic patient care, point-of-care testing, vital signs, telemetry monitoring, specimen collection. The role may also involve advanced skills like phlebotomy, IV removal, and EKGs, depending on department needs.
