Machine Operator - 3rd Shift

Salary:
$22.00 – $25.00 per hour (negotiable based on experience)

3rd Shift: Sunday-Thursday, 10:00pm-6:00am

Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented 3rd Shift Operator to join their production team. This role is responsible for operating and monitoring manufacturing equipment, ensuring consistent production quality, and maintaining strict adherence to safety and sanitation standards. The ideal candidate will have previous manufacturing experience and a strong work ethic suited for an overnight shift.

Job Responsibilities:
• Set up, operate, adjust, and shut down production equipment in accordance with company procedures
• Monitor and evaluate equipment performance; escalate complex issues to maintenance
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work environment throughout the shift
• Ensure proper use and rotation of raw materials (FIFO)
• Complete and verify production paperwork and shift reports accurately
• Assist with training new team members and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Identify safety or operational issues and communicate with supervisors proactively
• Adhere to all safety policies, participate in required safety training, and wear PPE as required
• Follow GMPs and ensure compliance with all food safety and quality regulations
• Support company programs in food safety, preventative maintenance, and employee safety
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED required
• 1+ year of experience in a brewery, food, or manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of HACCP, SQF, and GMP strongly preferred
• Ability to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly
• Capable of standing, walking, climbing, bending, twisting, and lifting for extended periods
• Willingness to work 3rd shift and obtain forklift certification (if not already certified)
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
• Familiarity with pneumatic systems, industrial electricity, steam generation, and sanitary piping is a plus
