Manager of Wholesale Distribution Operations
📍 Onsite | Specialty Food Wholesale Distributor
A leading specialty food distributor is seeking a Manager of Wholesale Distribution Operations to oversee and elevate our warehouse and transportation teams. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll drive operational excellence, efficiency, and team development across the organization.
What You’ll Do
Lead with Purpose: Oversee all daily operations across warehouse and transportation, ensuring productivity, accuracy, and safety.
Optimize Performance: Analyze daily data and reporting to identify trends, streamline processes, and enhance results.
Build and Develop Teams: Recruit, train, and mentor a motivated team—fostering a culture of accountability and growth.
Implement Improvements: Partner in deploying new systems and technologies that boost operational efficiency.
Manage Inventory: Maintain accurate inventory levels and reduce shrink through improved controls and tracking.
Ensure Compliance: Enforce all federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA and USDA requirements.
What We’re Looking For
Proven management experience in warehouse, logistics, or distribution operations.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems.
A proactive, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
