Research Associate, Executive Search
Overview
A small, high-performing executive search firm is hiring a Research Associate to support a growing portfolio of retained searches. This is a lean, collaborative environment where you will work directly with experienced search partners and gain real exposure to how high-impact searches are executed from start to finish.
This role is designed for someone early in their recruiting career who is looking to move into a more strategic, research-driven environment. You will play a key role in identifying and engaging high-caliber, often passive candidates, while building a strong foundation in executive search.
What You’ll Do
- Build targeted candidate pipelines across multiple retained searches
- Partner with search leads to define candidate profiles and target companies
- Conduct market mapping, competitor research, and talent identification
- Engage passive candidates through thoughtful, tailored outreach
- Maintain organized pipelines and track search progress
- Contribute to search strategy discussions and ongoing process improvements
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Approximately 2 years of experience in recruiting, sourcing, or a related role
- Strong interest in executive search and a desire to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organized
- Curiosity and drive to understand different industries and talent markets
