Asset Recovery Associate

Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Asset Recovery Associate to assist with managing and processing vehicle titles, coordinating with repossession vendors, and insurance-related tasks. This position ensures the accurate tracking and retrieval of assets while maintaining compliance with company policies and legal regulations. The Asset Recovery Associate plays a key role in administrative tasks, data entry, and communication with clients, vendors, and internal departments.
Responsibilities:
- Process vehicle titles, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation for transfers, sales, and repossession.
- Coordinate with repossession vendors to ensure timely and efficient recovery of assets.
- Maintain detailed records of repossession activities and asset statuses in the company's database.
- Communicate with insurance companies regarding claims, coverage issues, and asset recovery.
- Assist in resolving title issues, including duplicate titles, lien releases, and title reassignments.
- Provide regular updates on the status of assets and insurance claims to relevant departments.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding repossessions, vehicle titles, and insurance.
- Prepare and submit required reports, forms, and documentation related to asset recovery.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and responding to inquiries from clients and vendors.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree or relevant certification is a plus).
- 1-2 years of experience in asset recovery, repossession, vehicle titles, or insurance processing.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to repossessions and vehicle titles is preferred.
Working Conditions:
- Must be local to & on-site in our headquarters in King of Prussia, PA
- Office environment with occasional interaction with vendors and clients.
- May require occasional travel.
