Shop Assistant

Be a Key Support Player in a High-Energy Shop Environment!

Stork's Plows, a trusted leader in the snow and ice removal equipment industry, is looking for a dependable and hardworking Shop Assistant to join our team. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role that plays a crucial part in supporting our shop team and installers to keep their work flowing efficiently - especially during our busiest of seasons.

Responsibilities:

- Teardown of plow pumps and components to prepare them for rebuilding- Assist with day-to-day shop tasks to support installers and maintain smooth workflow- Help with unloading deliveries and moving snowplow equipment and parts as needed (may involve heavy lifting at times)- Maintain a clean, safe and organized workspace- Tackle other hands-on assignments to ensure team success and project completion

What We're Looking For:

- A strong work ethic and a willingness to roll up your sleeves- Ability to follow directions and work well within a team- Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and support wherever needed- A desire to take pride in your work and get tasks done in a timely, efficient manner- Previous experience in a shop or mechanical environment is a plus, but not required - we'll train the right person with a teachable attitude

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
