As a Runner, you play a vital role in the delivery of outstanding guest service and the smooth operation of the bar. Working under the guidance of the Bar Manager, you'll be responsible for delivering drinks quickly and accurately from the bar to guests across the venue. Your attention to detail, urgency, and positive attitude help create a seamless experience for every guest.

Service in Motion

You'll serve as the essential link between the bar team and the guest floor, ensuring drinks reach guests fresh, fast, and with a smile. You'll support the bar's back-of-house needs by restocking glassware, clearing stations, and maintaining clean service areas. Your enthusiasm and team spirit help set the pace and keep energy high throughout service.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Guest Delivery Support: Ensure prompt, accurate, and courteous delivery of drinks from the bar to guests across the venue.
  • Back-of-House Bar Support: Assist in maintaining stock of clean glassware, restock service areas as needed, and ensure all stations are clean, organized, and ready for service.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with bartenders, servers, and other support team members to maintain seamless communication and service flow.
  • Cleanliness & Compliance: Follow hygiene, health, and safety standards in all aspects of drink handling and bar support.
  • Guest-Focused Mindset: Uphold F1 Arcade's service standards by delivering drinks with energy, professionalism, and a guest-first attitude.

Skills Required

  • Experience: Previous experience in a restaurant or bar support role is preferred but not required.
  • Fast-Paced Performer: Thrives in a busy, high-energy environment; can manage multiple tasks with speed and efficiency.
  • Team Player: Proactive in supporting team needs and creating a positive working environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensures drink orders are delivered accurately and presentation standards are upheld.
  • Strong Communicator: Clear, respectful communicator who collaborates well across departments.
  • Flexible & Reliable: Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Committed Learner: Willing to learn new systems, follow service protocols, and pass all required training with a 90% or higher.
  • Physical Readiness: Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a fast-moving service setting.

Basic Physical Requirements

When working at an F1 Arcade venue, Team Members must be able to perform the duties of that venue. The team member will frequently sit for short periods of time, talk via Cloud Based video conferencing and the phone often, and hear and manipulate objects constantly.

Additional requirements will include lifting up to 10 (ten) pounds constantly and up to 50 (fifty) pounds as required. Lifting from floor to shoulder constantly and overhead infrequently. Twisting and reaching frequently. Grasping objects to move or manipulate constantly. Working in hot then cold environments for extended periods of time. May inadvertently bump into team members in a relatively small work area. Will stand and walk for extended periods of time. Frequent hand washing and sanitation is required. Ability to use knives, slicing equipment, and other food preparation equipment. Team Member must be able to communicate with Guests and other Team Members and manipulate handheld and desktop devices.
