Full Time Anesthesia Job Coudersport, PA

UPMC North Central Pa. is seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist to join our team of two physicians in Coudersport Pennsylvania. UPMC Cole is a modern, progressive 25-bed critical access hospital located on a large, well-maintained campus with a service area covering 55,000 people living in six counties in North Central Pennsylvania and Western New York. Opportunity Details

• Joining a team of 2 anesthesiologists and 4 CRNAs. Call is 1:3.
• Seeking a physician who will thrive as part of a small, well-trained and experienced medical staff
• Administration of anesthesia and anesthesia-related care in four general categories: (1) pre-anesthetic preparation and evaluation; (2) anesthesia induction, maintenance, and emergence, (3) post-anesthesia care; and (4) peri-anesthesia clinical support functions.
• Perform responsibilities according to established policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Review appropriate documentation for informed consent and identify the appropriate surgical site with operating room staff and surgeon in accordance with departmental and regulatory compliance standards.
• UPMC Cole has four (4) operating room suites, an endoscopy lab, and a minor procedure room. The 5,500 surgical procedures performed annually are derived from orthopedics, general surgery, ENT, pain management, OB/GYN, podiatry, urology, and gastroenterology
