Project Executive
The Project Executive provides both operational and strategic leadership across multiple large-scale electrical construction projects. This role is responsible for delivering projects with excellence, ensuring strong customer engagement, and building high-performing teams. The Project Executive partners with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to drive successful outcomes from preconstruction through closeout, while also contributing to business development and long-term growth. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide executive-level oversight for multiple major electrical construction projects in diverse markets including infrastructure, mission critical, power, industrial, and other emerging markets.
- Lead development of sector specific strategic plan in targeted sectors
- Lead business development efforts for targeted customers and work collaboratively with other Sargent leaders to develop winning pursuit strategies
- Lead project delivery through all phases: preconstruction, planning, execution, and closeout.
- Build and develop collaborative, long-term relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Drive customer satisfaction by meeting aggressive cost, quality, and schedule requirements.
- Develop, mentor, and manage high-performing project teams, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with estimating and preconstruction teams to develop competitive proposals and win new work.
- Monitor financial performance of projects, ensuring profitability and risk management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience in electrical construction, including project management of large-scale, complex projects.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting or exceeding cost and schedule demands.
- Strong background in customer engagement and business development.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience developing and leading high-performance teams.
- Deep knowledge of industry best practices, safety standards, and regulations.
