We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with hands-on experience in Electronic Prior Authorization (EPA) workflows and a strong understanding of FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) APIs. The ideal candidate will contribute to building scalable healthcare solutions that streamline prior authorization processes and enhance interoperability across systems.

Mandatory Skills:

Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications supporting EPA workflows.

Integrate and consume FHIR APIs to enable seamless data exchange with EHR/EMR systems.

Collaborate with product managers, architects, and healthcare domain experts to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Implement secure and compliant data handling practices in accordance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations.

Optimize application performance and ensure high availability and reliability.

Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration processes.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the EPA solution stack.
Required Skills:

Strong proficiency in Java (8 or above) and related frameworks (Spring Boot, Hibernate).

Experience working with FHIR APIs and understanding of HL7 standards.

Familiarity with EPA workflows and prior authorization processes in healthcare.

Knowledge of RESTful API design and integration.

Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases.

Understanding of healthcare data formats (e.g., CCD, C-CDA, X12).

Exposure to cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform) is a plus.

Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform BigQuery is a plus.
Preferred Skills:

Experience with healthcare interoperability platforms.

Knowledge of SMART on FHIR applications.

Familiarity with payer-provider integration scenarios.
Educational Qualifications:
Engineering Degree BE/ME/BTech/MTech/BSc/MSc.
Technical certification in multiple technologies is desirable.
