Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT)
Companion Animal Hospital believes in a team-oriented approach to patient care. Senior technicians mentor and guide newer technicians and help them to a level of expertise. Our technicians work autonomously and think critically. We work hard to support a learning environment for our team. The technician team is responsible for ensuring that our patient care. A variety of shifts are offered and rotate through days, swings, and nights to allow our team work-life integration. Being a member of the Companion Animal Hospital technicians team means being part of a team that is dedicated to the highest service standards. We never underestimate the impact one person can have on our clients and their pets. We are always interested in hearing from those who share our passion for serving others.
Primary Responsibilities/ Key Skill Area: Applicants who have achieved certification (RVT, CVT, LVT) are preferred, but technicians with experience in patient care, anesthesia/surgery monitoring, in-house laboratory operation, phlebotomy/ IV catheter placement and radiology will be considered
General job responsibilities: Maintain a positive work environment, work well under pressure, multitasking, respect clients and team members, employ stellar customer service, use proper medical terminology, maintain a clean and safe work environment, maintain inventory.
