Facilities Maintenance works with the Maintenance Manager to oversee the building maintenance needs and tasks. This includes the daily overview, maintenance and vendor management of the facility, grounds and retention pond. In addition, this position works closely with Human Resources to oversee Employee Safety and Regulations.

What you would be doing as Facilities Maintenance:

Facilities Maintenance is responsible for performing various building maintenance checks, tasks and repairs for electrical, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, etc. to maintain building and equipment standard. Responsibilities that are included in these areas, but not limited to, are the Ammonia System, boilers, air compressors, HVAC, waste water, generator and building maintenance inspections and audits. 

• Performs preventive maintenance to ensure that the equipment or parts will remain operational.
• Repairs and maintains a variety of facilities systems, components, and structures.
• Knowledgeable on all safety procedures in a manufacturing environment
• Maintains appropriate records and reports

Requirements:

• 5-10 years of facilities maintenance, or repair experience in a commercial or industrial setting
• Knowledge of power and hand tools
• Outlook and Microsoft experience
• Attention to detail and detail-oriented
• Strong communication skills
• Time manage and organization skills
• Independent and reliable while working under pressure
• Must have experience with steam boilers, air compressors.
• Must be a self-starter, can complete tasks alone and in a team environment.
• Must have experience using a CMMS system. Writing, editing, and working off work orders.
• Must be able familiar with wiring codes and NEC-70 standards.
• Must have a full set of hand tools required to complete the various tasks.
• Must be familiar with machine and system Lock out Tag out Programs.
• Must be familiar with pump rebuild and repairs, air systems, dryers and light carpentry.
