**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to those at the healthcare location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism within the healthcare environment.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible Allied Universal presence.
+ Observe and report on any security-related issues, hazards, or incidents encountered during patrols or during interactions with personnel, patients, and visitors.
+ Follow all site-specific protocols and instructions provided by Allied Universal and healthcare facility management.
+ Assist in controlling access to various areas within the healthcare facility as required, checking identification and monitoring entry points.
+ Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal supervisors, healthcare staff, and/or emergency responders as situations arise.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Must have vaccines required for hospital employment.
+ Must be able to work in a hospital morgue environment.
+ Must be at least 21 years of age.
+ Must be able to assist with restraining individuals in a hospital setting.
+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
